This blog was created with the intention of using it as a place for showcasing some of my favorite photographs. That makes it more of a photoblog really. But since they also allow me to write a few lines, therefore you might, occasionally, have to tolerate my ramblings.. :-)
The next few photographs will trace my recent trip to North East India. I hope they do justice to this extraordinary place and make a few more people want to go and explore this largely ignored part of our country. This photo was taken on the flight from Kolkata to Nagaland, the first leg of my journey.

I noticed this fly in our garden, on a particularly hot summer morning, when I was about to leave for office. It was the color that caught my attention, and made me get the camera. I was late for work that day, but the image more than made up for it.
